Ludicrously epic since 2022

Letter from the Founder

Most writers believe they are in the business of writing books. This is adorable. And untrue.

We are in the actual business of summoning absolute stans for imaginary places that feel more real than the chair you are sitting on.

We need a moment to get off the crazy bumper-cars of social media, and create a Hobbiton-style festival instead. Challenge your fans to come hang out with you, and read your stories aloud with you!

Hi, I'm Dominic, founder of LegendFiction, host of LegendHaven. I've been writing novels since I was 13, and work full time in marketing for 25+ years. I'm a dad with a young teen daughter, and I want to build a future we can believe in.

Our Christian views help make that happen. We need better stories to heal the world, and inspire adventures.

LegendHaven is... a haven for legends. Some are authors, some are readers, some are fans. And all are wanted and welcome.

Readers and fans move between worlds like travelers portaling across realms. Bring your world. Summon your fans. Join us!

I am on the edge of my seat for LegendHaven every year because I know I am about to plunge into a pool of revved up bookish, storyish people that I get to share my stuff with. COME TO IT, I WANT TO SEE YOU THERE TOO.

Dominic has created and is hosting LegendHaven, which I had the pleasure of speaking at last year.

It’s billed as “the friendliest fiction convention in the world" where authors, story lovers, book nerds, gamers, and more gather to share their love of story, imagination, writing, and adventure. Created by Catholics and Christians who love fantasy, science fiction, and epic books, you’ll meet fellow storytellers, learn how to create stories that change lives, and make friendships that last. This is an unpaid and unsolicited endorsement - I just admire Dominic and his passion for creating this community! Maybe it’s the right fit for you!

One of the most unique and fun gathering spaces I've seen in an online convention. A great way to meet and make friends and fans.

LegendFiction makes writing and storytelling easier, "cooler", and so much more fun! Last year I published my first novel thanks to the resources and community provided by LegendFiction. It's also kept me accountable to my writing goals, allowing me to write better stories in a much shorter period of time. Thanks so much to Dominic and the LegendFiction team!

Finding a writing community is essential for authors of all types. As a publishing professional, I love that LegendFiction and LegendHaven connects writers to likeminded friends who can support them on this journey!
